"7th Heaven" is Catherine Hicks' fourth series regular role on a television series. She starred previously in the series "Winnetka Road," "Tucker's Witch" and the popular daytime drama "Ryan's Hope." Hicks received an Emmy nomination for Best Actress for her starring role in the television movie "Marilyn: The Untold Story." Her other television movie credits include "Redwood Curtain," "Once More With Feeling," "Running Against Time" and "Happy Endings."
Hicks' feature films include the recent "Turbulence," as well as "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home," "Child's Play," "She's Outta Control" and "Razor's Edge." She also starred in Francis Ford Coppola's "Peggy Sue Got Married" and Sidney Lumet's "Garbo Talks."
On Broadway, Hicks starred with Jack Lemmon in the world premiere of "Tribute." The Cornell University graduate also performed in a number of regional theater productions.
A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Hicks was born on August 6.
