Emmy-nominated actor Stephen Collins is one of Hollywood's busiest actors,
moving effortlessly between television, film and theater. He recently played
Sela Ward's love interest in the critically acclaimed drama series "Sisters."
He also starred in the series "Tattingers," "Working It Out" and "Tales of
the Gold Monkey." Collins has had starring roles in numerous television
miniseries, including "The Rhineman Exchange," "Inside the Third Reich,"
"Chiefs," "Hold the Dream" and "The Two Mrs. Grenvilles," for which he earned
an Emmy nomination. He played John F. Kennedy in "A Woman Named Jackie,"
swept Donna Mills off her feet in Barbara Taylor Bradford's "Remember," and
starred as Ashley Wilkes in the miniseries "Scarlett."
He also starred in the television movies "The Babysitter Seduction," Ivana
Trump's "For Love Alone," "The Betty Broderick Story," "Summer Solstice"
and "Weekend War."
Collins' numerous feature film credits include "Jumpin' Jack Flash," "Brewster's
Millions," "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," "The Promise" and the critically
acclaimed movie "All the President's Men." He will soon be seen in the
highly-anticipated feature "The First Wives Club," starring opposite Diane
Keaton.
No stranger to the stage, Collins starred in Broadway productions of
"Moonchildren," "The Ritz" and "The Loves of Anatol." He performed in the
New York Shakespeare Festival, with Joseph Papp directing him in "Twelfth
Night," "One of the Guys" and "Macbeth." Collins also directed the regional
production of "The Old Boy."
In addition to his busy acting career, Collins is also a successful author.
His first novel, "Eye Contact," is in its sixth printing, and he's currently
at work on a second.
